Sherbourne Park is an impressive Grade II listed Georgian house set on an estate between Warwick and Stratford upon Avon. Its location in central England and easy access to the M40 makes the house a convenient and elegant venue for a gathering of friends, family or work colleagues.

The Location
Sherbourne Park lies 3 miles to the west of the ancient town of Warwick on the banks of the River Avon between the hamlet of Sherbourne and village of Barford. It is approached by a ¼ mile private drive through parkland. Junction 15 of the M40 is 1 mile away.
The Accommodation
There is accommodation in the main house with room for further guests in beautifully furnished en-suite bedrooms in a B & B run by the owner’s sister in a large cottage 250 yards to the rear of the house. There is space for 16 guests to be seated in the dining room and for up to 24 in the drawing room for lunch or dinner.

- Grand entrance hall.
- Dining room in deep red.
- Morning Room with panelling and open fire.
- Large drawing room with seating for up to 20, and open fire.
- Kitchen with breakfast room, gas and electric ovens, 2 large fridges, 2 dishwashers, freezer and larder.
- WC.
First Floor:
- Double bedroom with 6’ bed and en-suite bathroom ("Blue Room").
- Adjacent dressing room with queen size bed.
- Double bedroom with 6’ bed with en-suite bathroom with shower over bath ("The Gold Room").
- Double bedroom with 2 x four poster beds and en-suite bathroom ("The Green Room").
- Double bedroom with 6’ bed and en suite bathroom ("The Yellow Room").
- Single bedroom ("The Tent Room").
Second Floor:
- Master bedroom with 6’ bed with en-suite marble shower room and separate bathroom with roll top bath and access to decked roof terrace. The terrace should not be used by toddlers and young children.
- Double bedroom with queen size bed and en-suite bathroom ("The Fuchsia Room").
- Sitting room with Sky TV/DVD.
The Grounds
Guests will have exclusive use of 6 acres comprising:
- Large lawn and terrace to side.
- Croquet lawn.
- Pool, heated between 1st June and 30 September.
- Tennis court.
- Lake stocked with fish.
- Walks through wood and along River Avon.
- Ample parking to front of property.
Guests should note that there is a self contained apartment, staff cottages and a church to the rear of the property. Access to these buildings is via a separate drive and the privacy of guests will be respected at all times. The tennis court may be used by staff or the owner occasionally but only at times when guests are not using it. Young children to be supervised round the pool, lake and along the river bank. |
