The Location

Bowmoor Lodge is an ideal base to explore the picturesque Cotswold countryside.  Visit the charming villages of Bourton on the Water (the Venice of the Cotswolds), Burford, Stow on the Wold, Moreton in Marsh and Chipping Camden plus many other beautiful Cotswold villages.  The larger spa towns of Bath, Cheltenham or Oxford are all within an hour by car.

The History

The former Clay-don Pike gravel works, near Lechlade has been transformed and is the project of John Hitchcox and Anton Bilton.  Hitchcox, co-founder of the Manhattan Loft Corporation, heads Philippe Starck’s global property design and development company, Yoo.  Hitchcox and Bilton have marshalled the design talents of the likes of Philippe Starck, Jade Jagger and Kelly Hoppen to create beautiful properties in stunning settings.

There is accommodation for up to 8 adults and 2 children.  Children can use a single bed and a z bed placed in the dressing room of the master bedroom.

There is a private path leading to the house and grassed areas on both sides of the house.

There are 2 car parking spaces outside the house with a further 2 spaces in the overflow car park which is free of charge.

You will have access to the whole estate which is one big garden of around 650 acres

Most weekends the estate management organises numerous, free activities:
archery, fly fishing, bush craft sessions, BBQ's at the fishing Hut using crayfish and trout caught on site, sailing, Zip Wire, Power kiting, yoga, films for all ages in the fishing hut etc.
